As communicated in September, the 7th and 8th grade NYBA tryout registration will remain open until November 1. If your 7th or 8th grade son is planning to tryout for an NYBA team this season, please complete the attached registration by the November 1 deadline.

NYBA 7th and 8th grade parents,

As you know, the tryout date for the 7th and 8th grade boys will be held on November 13, 2019. We moved the 7th and 8th grade tryout back to allow for some coordination with the junior high program, which will includeinput from the 7th and 8th grade coaches (along with the NYBA tryout and last year’s coaches evaluation) prior to team selections. Here’s what you can expect: • Registration for 7th and 8th graders will remain open until November 1.
• Tryouts will be held on November 13.
• Uniform fitting will take place the evening of tryouts.
• Team selections will be announced by November 16.
• As soon as the selections are announced, registration and payment will need to be complete by November 18 to allow as much time as possible for uniform ordering.

We expect uniforms to be received by the mid-to-late December. If a team chooses to play in a tournament before uniform orders are received, they will need to consider other alternatives (i.e. using last year’s uniforms).
